DO YOU CUT HAIR? DO YOU STYLE HAIR?
No. We do not have a trained groomer to cut or style hair. Pawtanicals is a self-service pet washing location (you wash your pet). Due to the pandemic, we pivoted and expanded our services to offer you the option to have us (the staff) wash your dog. This is called “Staff wash”. You can find details on what is included here.
Do I have to make an appointment even for self-service?
YES. All appointments are by appointment only. This gives everyone the opportunity to have an allotted time to comfortably and safely wash their dog. This also allows us to control the number of people in our shop, disinfectant properly, and cause less stress on your dog (reactive or not).
How long is the tcmb appointment?
Efficiency and quality is always our goal. We aim to have your pet washed and dried within an hour. The micro-bubble bath appointments range from 1-2 hours, the acutal micro-bubble bath itself is 15-20 minutes long. What takes the longest is the drying portion of the appointment.
My pet hasn’t been groomed in a while, can I bring him/her in for a staff wash OR tcmb?
Regular grooming is essential component of having a pet. If you are in-between grooming sessions, then yes, the Staff Wash and TCMB only enhances to your dog’s overall well-being.
However, if you haven’t seen a groomer in a while and have a long-haired pet, we’d recommend you make an appointment with them first. Wetting your dog’s matted hair will only cause more tightening of the skin and more painful to your dog.
As for the TCMB, remember, the micro-bubbles need to enter the pore. If there is matting, you will not see the benefits of this bath. Thus, wasting your money and time.
If we see matting we will refer you to a groomer and re-schedule the appointment.
Can I drop off my pet at Pawtanicals and come back later?
No. Pawtanicals DOES NOT OFFER dog sitting services. If you book a staff wash, we provide you exactly the time range we will be done with your dog to pick him/her up. We call you 10-15 minutes before the appointment is finished to give you ample time to get to the shop. We do not have kennels to hold the dog. Please be mindful.
Do I need to show Vaccine records to wash my pet at Pawtanicals?

As of January 2023 - we are require by law to check for Rabies vaccinations and must be up-to-date.
Am I required to sign a relase form when using the staff wash service/tcmb?
When you schedule an appointment online you are required to read, understand, and sign our General Liability Waiver (GLW).
If you book an appointment by phone, you are made aware of the GLW and we automatically sign on your behalf. An email is sent with the information.
Are there dog breed restrictions?
We welcome all dog breeds. However, Pawtanicals is not a training facility. We will try our best to bring a stressful-free experience when washing your dog. If we see your dog is stressed and un-communicative, we will call you back to pick up your dog, recommend a trainer, and work with you to break that fear/trauma your dog has with bathing. Please be considerate of time. You book us to wash your dog not to train him/her.
We are currently NOT accepting new husky clients for STAFF WASH (you can use the self-service). The time needed to properly wash and de-shed this breed is more than 3+ hours.
